Where is the best place to live? (Why London is popular)

If you could choose where to live, which city would it be? Where is the best place in the world to live right now?

London gets my vote. The city is going through a metamorphosis and will look very different by 2020. It already attracts over 30 of the richest people on the planet, the luxury property market is vibrant and there are lots of parties throughout the year.

The city has one of the richest cultural mixes of any capital and there is a special bonding between Londoners which is both friendly and courteous. Lots of weddings take place in the capital which unite different cultures and makes unique connections.

London was also named as the best city in the world by Trip Advisor in May 2012 and receives millions of visitors each year.

It looks impressive from all angles.
There is also a permanent security guard to watch over you.
The capital is filled with history and as I was having drinks at St Pancras station, I took this photo.

The station connects London with mainland Europe and soon there will be HS2 which will make it easier for commuters to access London from other cities in the U.K. For a closer look at what’s on in London, you can subscribe to a free weekly online paper. Please share your views on the best places to live and give a reason why.

  1. Yes, even I think London is one of the best place to live. There are loads of thing to enjoy and have experience on. But as I got to know the only hassle of staying in London is the cost of living, it seems to be bit high nowadays.

  2. Some thinks that London is a very expensive city and it’s hard to live. I must say I lived in London for 20 years but we didn’t get much difficulties to live there. There are expensive places as well as many best places to visit people like us. It depend on how you spend.
